Sally attended Bethlehem College in Tauranga and has always been very involved in choral singing. She was in the New Zealand Secondary Students’ Choir for four years, and was leader of the choir from 2013-2014. She has recently graduated with a BMus (hons) in Classical Performance Voice at the New Zealand School of Music in Wellington, and is currently teaching singing to share her passion. Sally joined NZYC in 2014.
Eleanor grew up in Timaru and attended Craighead Diocesan School. She is in her third year of a Bachelor of Music at Victoria University of Wellington with a major in Classical Voice Performance, studying under Dr Margaret Medlyn. Eleanor played piano and clarinet during school, and in her later years of high school she began voice lessons. She was a member of the Craighead Chorale from 2010-2014 and then the 2013-2014 cycle of New Zealand Secondary Students’ Choir.
Eleanor joined NZYC in 2014. This is her second turn with the choir. She is also involved with other local Wellington choirs.
