Michael remains a lifelong musician, although he swapped his hat for that of a software developer in the mid 1990’s – just in time for the Internet. He continues to sing and play music as a passion, and makes time every week to compose – something he spent many years honing his skills at while completing degrees at the UOC. He credits his broad musical interests to growing up in a wide musical family and his compositional influences under the wing of John Cousins while at University.
